Owner and President
Certified Meeting Manager

Krista is a passionate industry leader in strategic meeting management with over fifteen years of experience in the field. Krista has a BA from Seattle Pacific University and completed her CMM in 2008. She was the 2008-2009 President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA). Krista has completed two marathons since turning 40. She loves to spend time with her two kids and to be out kayaking, hiking or gardening whenever possible.

Sean Fleming

Owner and Director of Operations

Sean has been handling Operations at KF Events since 2008. He has a Master’s Degree from Regent College and an undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Washington. He specializes in curriculum development and strategic planning. Sean has the flexibility to lead meetings, work with our clients on development, survey services, registration services, or anything that needs to be done for KF Events. He enjoys spending time with his two kids and if he found the time would love to be on the open greens with a club in his hand. Sean was the inspiration and motivator for he and Krista to complete two marathons recently.

Shannon Epps

Meeting Manager

Shannon has experience working with a variety of groups and events. She has been working with KF Events since 2006 and was previously with the University of British Columbia School of Business. She assisted UBC with over fifty events a year all over the world. Shannon has a BA from Seattle Pacific University. She assists with all conference management tasks and manages a couple conferences a year for KF Events. She enjoys spending time with her family, their puppy Hazel, and being outdoors.

Meeting Assistant

Janet assists Sean on our curriculum development and managing the over 300 breakout sessions and presenters we work with each year. She also is one of our conference registrars, offering excellent customer service and calm energy that works creatively to find solutions. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and baking.

Jessica Anderson

Meeting Assistant

Jessica has worked with KF Events for the past several years assisting with Exhibit Hall and Sponsorship Management and Sales. She also works closely with Krista on meeting tasks for several of our projects. She is reliable, an excellent communicator and extremely personable. She has a diverse background with events and sales. She enjoys keeping up with her kids, spending time with family, and cooking with her husband.

Office Assistant & Registrar

 

Shauna is a new addition to KF Events in June of 2015. She assists with registration and office management. Shauna holds a BA from Washington State University in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids and two dogs. Whenever she has time she loves gardening and baking.

Announcements

KF Events is excited to announce that we are now members of The Code (The Tourism-Child Protection Code of Conduct). The Code is a set of six voluntary guidelines that travel and tourism companies implement to comprehensively and proactively combat the commercial sexual exploitation of children. Meeting professionals can be active on this issue and can learn more about getting involved here.
