About Us

KF Events is a full-service meeting management company. We specialize in annual conferences with audiences up to 2000 participants. 

Company History

Krista Fleming founded KF Events in 2003. Since then our team has grown to seven staff members and we have executed more than 100 successful conferences.

Our Team

Krista Fleming - President

Krista is a passionate entrepreneur with twenty years of meeting planning experience planning over 100 events. She has a BA from Seattle Pacific University and received the Certified Meeting Manager (CMM) certificate with MPI. Krista loves to spend her free time traveling, hosting friends, and playing with her two children at Disney World.

Sean Fleming - Director of Operations

Sean has been managing operations for 10 years at KF Events. He has a Masters Degree from Regent College and his BA from University of Washington in Communications. Sean enjoys spending time with Krista and their two children.

Shannon Epps - Meeting Manager

Shannon has been working for KF Events since 2006 and has a BA from Seattle Pacific University. Prior to coming to KF Events Shannon worked at the University of British Columbia planning over 50 recruiting events all over the world. When Shannon isn’t working she enjoys running with her sweet pup Hazel, exploring with her family in the backcountry, and skiing as much as she possibly can up at Mt. Baker.

Allison Williams - Meeting Manager

Allison has been working with KF Events for five years. She has her Masters Degree from Kingston University, her BA from Seattle Pacific University, and is actively pursuing her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certificate. Outside of work, you can usually find Allison reading, planning her next adventure, or spending time with family and friends. 

Shauna Eckhardt - Registrar

Shauna has worked for KF Events for three years as the Registrar and Bookkeeper. She has her BA in Hospitality Management and Business from Washington State University. Go Cougs! Shauna enjoys the busy life of being the mother of three active kids and a puppy.  When she is not driving carpool she likes to spend time with her husband.

Annika Fleming - Registrar

Annika is a student at the University of Florida, she is exploring meeting planning as a career. She has completed the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) program for website building in Dreamweaver. She likes to spend her free time seeing live music, spending time with friends, and reading a good book.

We also know that project management isn’t one-and-done; it’s a process. From start to finish, we’ll complete periodic status updates with your team to ensure progress on all fronts that aligns with project goals, timeline, and budget. 

What We Do

Site Selection and Contract Consultation

A fantastic event begins with a fantastic venue. With your team’s guidance, we complete a meeting profile to help us find your just-right venue. We’ll handle the entire RFP process and pull together a comprehensive recommendation package—all you have to do is select your site! From site visits to contract negotiation, we’ll take care of the rest, making sure your event exceeds every expectation. 


Agenda and Logistics

We love logistics. (Truly!) As your event starts to take shape, we’ll create an in-depth conference agenda, accounting for every component of your event in one place – including rooms, food and beverage, AV specifications, budget checkpoints and more. No detail is too small.


Online and Onsite Registration Services

We take attendance, so you don’t have to. KF Events offers a robust and user-friendly online registration system that automates and integrates conference registration and marketing activities. We’ll help determine the best format for your registration needs and ensure you have all the right attendee information needed for success.

The online registration platform includes the following features:

o   Customizable design to match your look-and-feel

o   Flexible, user-friendly payment options

o   Badges with logos, program selections, and barcodes for lead retrieval 

o   Robust reporting tools

KF Events also supplies onsite registration equipment and staffing, to find the process that’s right for you. 


Exhibit Management and Sponsorship Sales

We help your exhibitors put their best foot forward. We provide online registration for all exhibiting companies, including booth selection through an online exhibition map and coordination with the venue. If needed, during your event, we simplify lead retrieval for you and your exhibitors, with a user-friendly smartphone app that tracks attendance in real time, and helps out with CEU tracking and reporting, too.

Along with exhibit support, we work with your team to determine potential sponsors and partnerships, through a revenue share model, that ensure a great event experience for you and your attendees. With our top-notch customer service, your sponsors will be well cared for, and your partnerships will be stronger than ever.


Presenter Management

We’re here to help, from proposal to presentation. We provide the digital tools for a smooth submission and review process, presenter communication, room logistics, session data, media management, and more.


Survey and Post-event

Our work doesn’t end when your event does. Our post-event offerings include survey services, guided by your strategic assessment plan, to identify both the wins and the growth opportunities, along with attendee reporting data. Finally, we’ll conduct a debrief with your staff to ensure future event success.
